Thanks to CAKid for this 22 oz. bottle. Split with my wife as part of our 23rd wedding anniversary. Good hell that’s a long time! She likes beer too or my credit card bill would have ended it long ago…
Black. Borderlines still. Smells Good.
Affection Principle was one of Janet’s less known hits; I did dig it. The video, mostly. This AP rings in high on the cocoa meter with a backbeat of bourbon. Sweetness that I’m going to attribute to both malts & vanilla slips in the mid-palate before bourbon lowers the boom to the finish. The coffee is MIA & would have added some balance to the heavier, sweeter ingredients. Nonetheless. Heavy, filling, thick, half a bomber will do me just fine.
A little heavy on the sweetness but luckily I eat chocolate chips by the handful. Excellent beer.
