Brewed with a mix of CA, OR, and NC craft malts, this collab with our friends at Burial Brewing was fermented with mixed cultures, Juice yeast, and Burial house yeast, aged in tawny port barrels for a year, and the racked onto 3.9 lb/gal Red Roy nectarines from Boldt Farms. Deep, complex funk meets an abundance of stone fruit radness, all underscored by beautiful notes of oak that really take the whole thing to a seriously stellar level. Ready your flavor portal for an experience in liquid elegance.

12.7oz bottle. No dating information found.
Tangerine orange colored body, with cloudiness and sediment. Very brief off white head. No lacing.
Aroma has the tangerine fruitiness, barnyard funk, and a slight port barrel appearance.
Taste is very tart. Flavors of sweet tangerine but tart also. There is a port barrel influence that takes away the juicy sweetness. Minor notes from the barrel yeast funk. Aftertaste is more from the barrel and yeast (not sweet).
Medium mouth feel. Dryness comes from the yeast and the barrel. Supportive carbonation.
There is a sweet flavor as long as the beer is in the mouth but immediately with the swallow the flavor dries out and goes to tart. Authentic tangerine flavor.

Tastes like biting into a fresh nectarine that has been magically soured.
edit: 3rd time trying this beer. One of the tastiest things I have ever tasted.
