Ready your grill-piece for a juice-bomb of breathtaking proportions. Hopped with exorbitant amounts of Bru-1, Strata, and Galaxy hops, this beer’s murky depths are replete with notes of pineapple, peach, and passion fruit that combine in an absurdly satisfying fashion. It’s a glorious, all-inclusive cruise through tropical waters, and your taste buds have VIP tickets.

Beautifully light SRM with huge white foam that sticks around. Smell is tropical though subdued with bready highlights. Flavor is sweet and juicy, really ideal until the finish when it gets a bit boozy and vegetal. Bummer! Mouthfeel has too much breathy alcohol, would be better to dry this one out and maybe dial up the bitterness 5 or so IBU’s. Btw the can is a stovepipe, the one in the profile has the wrong proportions!

Bright gold pour from a stovepipe canned in late December; fluffy head and moderate haze on the body. The nose and palate show hoppy dankness with some grapefruit and orange/orange rind character, as well as some floral peach/stone fruit. Hoppy and smooth with a decent malt backbone and a flash of booze.

pours a super hazy pale orange body with a cream-colored foam head that has moderate retention and leaves thin sheets of lacing behind as it settles to a medium frothy cap

aroma is pungent, juicy, and tropical with resinous evergreen pine and a rich caramel backbone

taste follows the nose with a major balancing act as the juicy bright tropical fruits tangle with resinous pine and caramel malt.

mouthfeel is high carbonation and medium body that runs mostly smooth but dips into syrupy thickness occasionally before finishing dry and leaving a bright fruit and evergreen hop aftertaste

overall:
previous reviewer stated this was a marriage of the DIPA and NEIPA and I couldn't agree more. very well balanced and complex yet enjoyable.

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer glass

A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.

S: Almost over ripe tropical and stone fruit, pineapple leads the way, a touch of spice, a little citrus, a hint of pine, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Tropical and stone fruit, candied pineapple, mango, papaya, peach, apricot, guava, passion fruit, and a hint of melon, some citrus, orange, lime, lemon, and a touch of grapefruit, a little resinous pine, a touch of spice, bready malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness.

M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, can get a bit syrupy but there's a decent amount of IBUs there to keep it drinkable.

O: Drinks like the love child of a NE IPA and an old school DIPA. New school hops and haze, old school bready sweetness and underlying bitterness. Not my favorite MT beer, but I wouldn't turn down a second. Kinda reminds me of pineapple upside down cake.
