Cousin to the hefeweizen, we've cleared it up for a smooth and light wheat beer. Light and crisp with low hop character.

Taster at brewery. Light golden, skin of head. Served with lemon, unnecessary. Adds too much citrus. Hides a bland beer, not too much weizen here, not very clear either.

On tap at the brewery in Pocatello, Idaho.
This arrived with a fine head over a clear amber body. It also had a slice of lemon which I removed.
Light spicy bread in the aroma with suggestions of citrus.
Flavor follows. Clean. Typical strength and bitterness for style.

Pale gold draught pour with thin white head. Light citrusy nose. Light tangy lemon flavor. Light mouthfeel and moderate minus carbonation. Fairly lite and crisp, but the citrusy flavor is a little off putting.

Had this on tap at the Brewpub, Served in spiny glass with a lemon wedge. Nice golden color, No bitterness or hop flavor at all, not one I'll try again.

Served on tap into a shaker glass at the brewpub

A- Poured a semi-hazy golden color with a frothy head that left glass coating lace

S- Big banana, clove, and marshmallow like sweetness, some grains. Very aromatic and with a pleasant and unique sweetness in the aroma

T- Bananas and cream. Big banana flavor, clove, marshmallow fluff, and citrus notes. Big bold clove flavor and banana flavor lead and it becomes an almost marshmallow type flavor.

M- Smooth, prickly carbonation, finishes dry

O- Very drinkable with some very traditional and unique elements. A great beer I was fortunate to come across in Idaho.

Pour: Pale golden-yellow color with one finger of white head that dissipates quickly. Pretty much looks like your standard American lager.

Smell: A light hint of citrus with a little bit of wheat and pale malt and a slight hoppy character.

Taste: Light, crisp lemon flavor supported by a light wheat malt backbone and finishes clean with a light bitterness and no aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Light and crisp with high carbonation.

Drinkability: Very refreshing, about like drinking soda.

Final Notes: A rather interesting beer of sorts, think of it as a filtered American Hefeweizen. A great beer for summer refreshment and makes a really good black-and-tan with the Midnight Satin, but not anything I seek to drink all the time.
