On tap at Fifty Seven Degrees in San Diego. Pours a clear pale golden color in the tall tulip, with a modest foam. Quite tangy on the tongue. The dry Belgian sensation makes this seem even thinner, but it's crisp and refreshing.
Rather bitter after some sipping. It's like the extra pale ale with a really dry finish, except the bitterness is from the yeast instead of hops. Plenty of flavor despite the overall slenderness of body.
This is really quite pleasant as a lighter style of Saison. The foam dissipates before long but stays spritzy in the mouth. Some aromas of green apple and grain.
