A - Pitch black with a one finger tan head. Pretty standard fare for a big stout. Nice head retention.
S - Malts, dark chocolate, alcohol, some oaky bourbon.
T - Dark grains, char, wood in the form of cardboard. The first time the wood has been off putting for me. A little soapy taste in there.
M - Not heavy for the ABV. Nice body.
O - Eh, a little disappointed since I like this brewery, but willing to try this brew again at a later date.
