Amber colored body topped with a thick, soapy head. Sweet, fruity aroma; berries and tropical fruit waft about. Fine, light malt grain flavor; delicate cereals, light breads; big hop bitterness. Heavy body; smooth yet with a crisp bite; some alcohol heat in the background.
This is a nicely balanced, full-bodied IPA that delivers a fine malt grain base with a full-on hop bite and presence. The head is a bit disappointing in that it's very soapy and large bubbled but that's a minor quibble once the aroma hits the nostrils and the beer hits the palate. The beer brings about a long, lingering pleasantness to the senses after each sip. An outstanding offering from Red Leg...
