Nutty, bready aroma. Flavor: malts, cheese, bold, bitter with bit of sweetness. Long lasting aftertaste. Goes well with pretzels.

Deep, ruddy hued body; nice one-finger+ thick head, creamy and sticky. Faint malt aroma; mild caramel and nut scent. Taste develops a bread crust and mild nut flavor; good bitterness counterpoint. Smooth and warm on the palate.
This is a mixed bag of a beer. There is little aroma while the flavor leans more towards a being a weak brown ale. It has its moments and is worth having again, but just doesn't really stand out one way or the other.
