Bautumn's Up Harvest IPA is a harmonious marriage of German malt and American hops with deep red hues reminiscent of maple leaves. Its bracingly bitter, resinous, and piney notes dominate the palate and are accompanied by subtle mixed berry and citrus attributes. Much like the humor of the Brits, this IPA is dry, crisp, and has a smooth mouth feel that will keep you coming back for more.

Rich, medium copper colored body, clear; thick, slow rising carbonation; thick head, spongy and a bit sticky. Sweet toasted malt aroma; dull, earthy note. Dull, sweet flavor; toasted grain; moderately heavy hop bitterness; slight herbal hop quality; peppery. Heavy body; mild coarseness on the palate; nice residual sugar density; dull sweetness, not cloying; slight dryness at the finish.
A more malt-forward India pale ale, perhaps more in line with English IPAs.
Pouring temperature: 46.2 ℉; crowler info: DATE CANNED: 9/4/22
