A deceptively dark traditional German lager with a smooth subtle roasty and malty body that gives way to a crisp, dry finish balanced with restrained bitterness and slight spice aromas of German Noble hops.

Pours out a dark , clear color, opaque in the glass; thick, frothy, light tan head, long-lasting. Subdued scent of dark roasted grain. Balanced taste of lightly sweet, dark roasted grains with a complementary hop and grain char bitterness. Fine, simple lager smoothness.
This is a fine example of a schwarzbier. Balanced and flavorful, easy drinking.
