32oz crowler served in a big snifter. Bought it at The Bine three days ago.
Pours a hazy pale amber with a big head and medium to high carbonation. Smell is citrus pith and light tropical fruit.
Taste is kinda sweet, not quite enough bitterness to balance it nicely (for my taste), minor dirty dishwater flavor, mostly juice.
Mouthfeel is medium, moderately dry. Overall, not bad.

a total banger of a hazy double here, my favorite of the two we had at the brewery, what a view here too, wow! this is uniformly starchy looking pale yellow with a high white head from the tap, looks a little dense but also active enough on the carbonation to not appear too heavy. it smells insane, pairing strata and southern cross hops, not a common match, but it sure works well! i get fresh berries, delicate herbs, and blooming spring flowers, weird for a cold rainy fall day, but enlivening for sure, bright and fresh. the flavor is just as good, hops built on dry cereal maltiness, some wheat or oats or both likely, but its lime leaf, lemongrass, zested meyer lemon, green tea, elderflower, fleshy drippy ripe melon, even a light honey thing. the flavor and freshness of the hops is just on point, i love this combination and want to see more of it in the future. i do wish the beer was just a little lighter, a little soupy on the grain weird, this would be just as good as a clear ipa, or even a conventional strength hazy, but its beefed up just a little much to be a drinker, as much as i want it to be because of the flavors. really solid overall though, impressively unique in a samey style these days. bravo!
