Appearance: Slightly hazy, gold, fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Fruity and grassy.
Flavor: Grainy, lemon-lime, spicy, with restrained bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: As I always advise people trying NA beers for the first time, it's all about expectations. Don't expect them to taste exactly like your favorite beers. Treat them as a separate category of beverage. This is one of your better ones. It does not have the sweet, worty taste many NA beers do. It has subtle flavors and aromas. Hints of lemon-lime, grains, and some grassiness in the aroma and flavor. It's refreshing, lighter, and drying. The more I drank it, the more I discovered, and the more I like it. I did not like the price, it is quite expensive but I'll drink it again. Reviewing vs other NA beers.

Golden yellow with a white head that laces nicely with good carbonation. Pleasant nose of a Begian wheat. Hint of malt blended nicely with hops.

Best before end of 2026/04
Pours a frothy fizzy 1 finger head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, mostly clear slight chill haze pale to straw color
Nose surprisingly brings some of the Belgian yeast notes, fruity esters, a touch of phenol spices, doughy malts, a bit bready, light floral grassy hop and mild citrus
Taste has a bit of a weird gluten character that happens in some NA beers, outside of that more doughy malt notes, straw, into a little cereal, light floral spice phenol notes and faint esters, little grassy floral hop, light bitterness, dry finish
Mouth is med bod, med frothy carb
Overall not bad, nothing near the real thing but for NA beer it's decent

Taste: Coriander and cumin, light biscuity malt, lactic acid sourness.
Feel: Very light and watery. Moderate carbonation.
Overall: Not very good, and mildly unpleasant to drink, but about average for a low-alcohol beer.

A: slight haze; medium gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a splotchy cap with a moderate collar; nice lacing;

T: follows the nose, but the flavors aren't bright; mild bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: nice to have a decent Belgian option for a NA beer;

I want to really like this beer, and I applaud the concept, but it is simply too light in flavor and body to really enjoy. I understand how NA means a drop in flavor and body, but there are many who succeed. This one- just okay.

Being a Belgo-phile and big fan of the Duvel-Moortgat family of Belgians, I think I'd rather drink this near-zero than any other I've tried. While Duvel's distribution has obviously brought this to the States, I bought my copy from Drinks Of The World at their store in the Lucerne train station. I drank this while eating a sandwich on the scenic train ride back to Zurich and the experience was all very good. For all of the above, I give high Overall Hugs.
While something not better obviously happens when a brewer takes the alcohol out, d'Chouffee somehow makes the process almost neutral. One sip and I know a master made this. Possibly they keep the yeast more active, I know not. But from the foam to the fruit in my nostrils to the balanced spicing, this is a NA masterwork. And relative to the lightness of the style, d'Achouffe achieved a medium-mouth feel.
So while I'm rarely in a NA mood, at least now I have a go-to... and I might even go to more often.

The aroma is malty and yeasty with hints of spice and citrus. The appearance is deep gold with a foamy head and lace. The taste is like the aroma with a hint of hops but overall watery. The palate is as smooth as one can hope from the style but still on the thin side. Overall thank you d'Achouffe for giving us a Belgian N/A beer but I feel like it could be more. It's only faintly like a full fledged Blonde.

Bottle purchased from Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly golden yellow color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells pretty solid, clearly like a very light Belgian blonde ale, but still pleasant. There’s some light graininess, a touch of grassy hops, and some spice.
This is definitely one of the better and cleaner NA beers I’ve had – doesn’t just taste like watery unfermented wort like so many of them. It does actually taste like a light and slightly watery Belgian blonde ale.
This is light bodied, crisp on the finish, slightly watery, but very drinkable.
I always end up trying a few NA beers in January, and this is easily one of the better ones.

Pours a light gold color, clear; light amber in the glass with a smidge of cloudiness; lively carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and sticky, rocky and sculpted. Nice grain backbone nose with a solid backing of yellow pome fruit esters, pear. Thin, fruity flavor with a mild grain underpinning; light apple as the beer warms; a bit of spiciness; a bit of bitterness. Medium body; sooth with a slight edgy bite to things.
I my current preference for European NA beers has expanded. Guinness 0, Heineken 0.0 and now this Belgian offering are my top three. The simplest explanation is that they actually taste like beers, perhaps a little thin, but not quite like beer wort that many of the American offerings I've tried exhibit.
ABV: 0.4%; pouring temperature: 46.9 ℉; bottling info: Best Before End: 06 2025
