Red-amber colour, with a big off white head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, red fruits and spices. Harsh palate, big carbonation. Taste of caramel, spices, chocolate. Not bad, but nothing surprising.

Pours dark amber with a massive, growing head.
Nose shows some farmhouse notes, peppery phenols, some soft orange peel and little else.
Flavours include cardboard, solventy booze, saison notes, metallic characters. Some soft biscuity malt later.
Insanely overcarbonated.

Estepa found its way to Brazil, then was purchased by Guilherme and given to me as a gift. Thanks! From a 330 ml bottle, on to the beer:

It's an amber colored beerwith red and yellow hues. It's a pretty color. On top sits a soapy head minding its own business. The aroma is dry, featuring fruit skins and white wine to smell. The taste follows suit to some level, being dry and offering vague fruits. Dry caramel add a distinct sweet note to the beer. Its carbonation is alive, bold, bubbly, while the body is light. If dry beers are your thin, give Estepa a try.
