12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, peach, pear, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, orange zest, peach, pear, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness; light herbal/grassy bitterness and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, peach, pear, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from spiciness and carbonation. High carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, clean, and fairly grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this i a delicious saison. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the very spicy/drying finish. Really classic tasting saison yeast complexity, with solid pale malt/earthy hop backing. Great crisp/foamy carbonation levels make this drink super easy. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
