Draft offering at Zucks. The brew pours a clouded brown with mahogany clarity somewhat seen around the edges. A tan cap rests atop with a full wall of lace painting the glassware.
The aroma contains some fruity dark raisony character with a soft alcohol inclusion that is almost floral.
The flavor is fruity with a mix of alcohol and hops. Towards the back is a green yeastiness. A little caramel malt flavor imparts a light toasty to bready grain flavor as well. A decent arrangement of flavor that would be made even better if it wasnt chock full of yeastiness.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. An ok offering but it carries a familiar yeasty attribute found in some of the other offeringd that hinders the drinkability a bit.
