Draft offering at Zucks. The brew appears a hazy copper color with an off-white cap. Some spotty lace and decent head retention.
The aroma is fruity to floral with alcohol and a bit of caramel grains. Somewhat toasty with a solid green yeastiness filling out most of the brew's aroma profile from middle to back.
The flavor is sweet and fruity, almost pear or apple skins are present before the onset of caramel and toffee-like maltiness. There is a soft floral alcohol accent and the brew finishes green with a distracting yeastiness across the finish.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. Overall it has a lot of potential but my overall feel for this is that it was rushed to completion and the yeast never got to clean itself up. That aside, this is a decent brew.
