Appearance - Pours crystal clear and golden yellow in color until the rest of the can is swirled and added into the drink, adding a bit of haze from the yeast. White, rocky two-finger width head that displays great retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds and a fair ring around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing, mostly made up of small spotting.
Smell - The aroma is spicy, citrusy and with a little bit of funk. A good bit of tart fruitiness as well, like a white wine.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrusy flavor that sits somewhere between orange and lemon, followed immediately by clove-like spice and funkiness. Faint bready underbody. Finish turns mildly tart, lemon and green apple, with hint of citrus bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with spritzy carbonation. Slick texture with a crisp and refreshing dry finish.
Overall - This is quite a tasty saison that New Glory makes. Great balance and stupid drinkable quality. Summer is closing in, and I think a few sixers here and there won't be out of the question. For those disappointed in Firestone retiring Opal, this could be the alternative you've been looking for.

Drank from a 12oz can at a Memorial Day BBQ. A nice refreshing break from the Pranqsters I'd been drinking most of the day (not that there's anything wrong with that). Hope to run across it again some day and do a litle more focused eval.
