Appearance - Pours viscous and purplish in color with a pink, half-finger width head that fizzles away to a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring around the edge of the glass. A small handful of tiny spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Prominent aroma of berries; raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. Hints of cream and a faint graham crackery sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Berries are prominent with a light note of vanilla cream. Faint bready base. Mid-taste brings a touch of medicinal character, like aspirin. Finish lingers with berry zing.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with a light, spritzy carbonation before flattening out and getting watery in the finish.
Overall - One of the releases for New Glory's 4th Anniversary celebration. It's a good beer but seems a bit watery at times. A bit more berry punch and graham cracker sweetness could have made this one special.
