Great smell and taste. Best mosaic IPA in the area. Understanding that this beer has been retired.... I hope not

This wasn't a bad beer but indeed, it was old and it took a while for me to get around to this after buying it at the Total Wine in Long Beach, California. Never heard of or had anything from New Glory before but as a moderate beer to kick back with, this wasn't a terrible choice...
The pour to this was a hazy straw with a ton of bubbly foam that overflowed out of my pint glass. Lots of spotty lacing remained as I worked my way through this, as there was a hint of a thin collar and rings below that. Tons of Mosaic, weed, and dank forest in the nose with some herbal notes underneath that, as the taste had some oil, resin, jack, and stone fruit in it. Malty and full-bodied, this could have used a tad more bubbles to round out the taste as this felt like something from the northern reaches of California.
Packaged on 2/14/22, this held up well for being old as there wasn't any sediment that had to be swirled out. The gooseberry in the aftertaste was a nice way for this to finish, as I'd love to get a fresher can of this. Worth a go for those who like their beer green and full of one hop!

I don't even know where to start with this beer. This is a beers beer. Smell? Piney and fruity at the same time. Tasted just like it smelled, though I got the bitterness up front and a yeast bite in the back. Sippin' beer (not from strength, but because it's mighty tasty!) Overall, I love this beer!

Appearance: Pours a hazy, semi-opaque, golden yellow color. A sticky, soapy white foam head with good retention.
Aroma: Very aromatic. Citric fruits up front, floral, herbal, and earthiness. with Pineapple, orange, and a bit of berry. A malty aroma is also present.
Taste: A complex balance of bready malts up front, followed immediately by fruitiness and then a bitter hop bite with hop resin and some earthy notes, which then all come together at once to complement each other. The bitterness is a near perfect level and lingers in the finish.
Overall: The balance and complexity of this brew was a pleasant surprise. The aroma and the flavors stimulate the senses and practically play a hockey game on the palate. Nothing in this brew is overbearing. Wonderful drinkability. Worth the extra money spent.

16 oz can, canned 7/13/22. Pours slightly hazy yellow with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet stone fruit with some bready malt and some grassy hops.
The flavor is lots of creamy bready earthy malt with some minty green hops with a little fruit and resin. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, just OK. I didn't really care for the flavors and found it overly malty.

Can pour - opaque dark gold with foamy white head leaving frosty lacing. Nose is deliciously mosaic and taste follows right with it with a nice bite. Finish is a bit citric and slightly dry.

Had Do You Even Mosaic Broh? in Humboldt straight from pint can split with friends, and poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "09/04/20" and "ABROHAM [sic] LINCOLN," into nonic pint.
Looks the part of a now-classic NEIPA, pouring cloudy rather than turbid, and bright gold, with 2-finger foamy near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving chunky rings of lace. The demonstration of Mosaic's complex aroma profile could not be more complete, as there are sweet citrus, berries and floral aromas to start, and then stone fruits, pear and peach, with all continuing as long as the beer. On tasting, a little resinous hop bite to start, under up-front fruit, over mild malt, then stone and other fruits take over, before a drying, slightly but just bitter enough finish.
Alone, even this much Mosaic can't carry the flavor quite as well, but it's still a subtle and complex NEIPA.

Packaged on 9/23/20 - consumed on 10/23/20 - poured from a tall-boy can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.
Slightly hazy gold liquid topped by a fat finger of seashell foam. Soapy lacing; excellent retention.
Pungent, herbaceous, fruit-forward aromatics. Slightly dank.
Forest floor, grapefruit, strawberry, pine, hints of pineapple and peppercorn on the palate. Subtle and quite complex flavors from the single hop variety. Mild but persistent bitterness. Clean malt bill. Perhaps a tiny bit green, but no off notes.
Zippy yet soft mouth-feel.
Well made and refreshing (SMASH?) IPA, though not a great value.

Always nice to see one of my faves needing a review. This is one of those beers I buy every time I see it. Its nice because that happens more often every year.
Pours a dark golden to the lightest of all ambers. 1/2" white head. Blasting aromatics of nothing but Mosaic hops. Do you like guava hippie dank weed smells? Because here it is. And its big time.
Taste is a crisp classical west coast style malt body with a buttload of Mosaic hops. It has a bitterness as if there is a helping of Simcoe or Centennial, but this might be all Mosaic because the lush dense jungle of fruity notes are there. Still has a sticky pine and pineapple hit to it. Carbonation is just right. Good dry finish, not sticky from the malt, sticky from the Mosaic hops, but counterbalanced with that light airy body. All the tropical fruit stripe gum you can shake a stick at.
I've kind of wondered why so many of the other NorCal breweries get so much more notoriety for their hop game (rightfully so), but New Glory rarely gets brought up. Top tier banger here.

Golden, amber beauty, crystal clear with a modest but persistent head.
Sharp pineapple and sweet mandarin lead the nose. Rounded out by a sweetly herbal (mint/basil?). Nice and bright and danky
Taste has pineapple and just underripe peaches along with softer Danker flavors that hint at berries and a earthy must
Mouthfeel is great, full bodied and crisp
If you like mosaic and you like classic west coast style this is one for you. Dank and bitter with sweet hippy fruitiness to balance.
