2013 #1 750 bottle enjoyed from a 5 stones mini snifter (yeah, it was a LOT of pours)
a - brew pours a transparent yellow orange with a yin fizzy head that left small bubble islands on the surface. The color is rich and honey like.
s - nose is classic saison. Very well balanced earthiness crossed with some soft Belgian sweetness, hint of bubblegum, but mostly grass, in a good way. Some honey on the tail end of the sniff.
t/m/o - super easy drinker. Opens with classic saison grassiness and just enough sweetness to balance out the style. Very saison, really tasty. Great malt to it. Fairly crisp and refreshing. If you like saison so you are going to want to check this one out.

This was my introduction to one of the newer San Antonio-area breweries. Based upon this, they deserve the praise I’ve heard.
Zero poured a light tan/yellow-gold with a cap of foam. I get pineapple and a light papaya aroma on it. There’s a subdued pineapple character to the flavor with a honeyed finish. It’s a neat combination and it works so well. This was a tasty one.
