a tasty hoppy and slightly funky saison type, almost like a belgian pale meets a saison, with some light brett in here from what i can tell, but also a clean and fruity belgian yeast vibe at the same time, wheaty and not too light, but bubbly enough to be refreshing, and the hops make it feel new to me, easy drinking and interesting, the kind of beer i have been most interested in drinking lately. i have long been a fan of hoppy saison, appreciating bittering hops with old world yeast, and thats what makes this one appealing to me, the hops are as bitter as they are flavorful, and so this ends up drinking more old school than modern, not a huge new zealand dry hop on it or anything. some white wine and stone fruit character from the yeast, a green dried tea-like vibe from the hops, and excellent carbonation even though its not holding a huge head in the glass. faint tartness, more bretty farmy than acidic for sure. peppery saison finish with the lasting bitterness of the hops, reminds me of something from belgium or france in the spring. delicious.

L: cloudy golden yellow with 3 fingers of head
S: wonderful sweet citrus aroma
T: Light & refreshing with a lemon citrus taste.
F: low carbonation low alcohol (like a true Saison). Light & refreshing
O: wow! Wonderful saison. Great taste & easy to drink. Nice to be able to drink a bomber without feeling hammered. I have not had beers from this brewery before but I'm impressed. Going to try their other beers now
