Labeled "Test Batch#3"
This was poured with about a finger sized head of a soapy like froth that had very nice lacing. The coloring was a bit orangish to light caramel with a clean hue.
The aroma was on the malty side with a bran and barley core. The hop character was light but unmistakably English with a subdued floral scent.
The flavor was quite smooth with a well balanced personality. The malt came first, barley and bran, with an English hop finish. Now I'm not one to try to differentiate hops but It has the character of Kent and Fuggles I've had in the past.
This is an English IPA and certainly doesn't hit the complexity of the American IPA but for the style this is very good.
