Got a 16oz can from the brewery.
Slightly hazy golden color. The foamy head dissipates quickly.
Fruity with a malt back bone, effervescent mouthfeel.
Not really my thing.

Ripe for the picking, the brewers of Blue Stallion give their traditional German Pilsner a little makeover for summer. A new and exciting layer of bruised orange character gives the otherwise standard beer new life.
Bright and golden, their Bruised Orange Pilsner soon crowns with a loose and stark white froth. short in its longevity, the zesty foam lures in the nose with a light overcast of citrus along with the standard fresh kilned malt, cereal and unadulterated grain and grass aromas. Floral to the nose, but sweeter and breadier to taste, the early palate is moderately malty with fresh bread, honeysuckle and wafer-like.
As the mild mannered beer splashes the middle palate, its maltiness is partly of grain, partly of cereal with the taste of barley germ paving the way into a somewhat juicy malt flavor. Trending gently hoppy with a peppery, spicy bite, the taste trends mildly bitter with lemongrass, lemon pepper, parsley and mint. That gentle overcast of orange flavor is persistent but mild while giving the beer a slight not to pale ale flavor.
Medium bodied for pilsner but somewhat lighter compared to general beer, the grain flavors lead to a mild grainy texture with a faint peppery pectin bite. Trailing into a medium short linger of orange, grain and grass, the flavored Pilsner is surefire option to beat the summer heat.
