A: Had this beer on-tap, poured into a pint glass. Had a black color and a thick texture. There was an inch of tan-colored, creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A very underwhelming aroma of chocolate, malt, and some oatmeal.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of oatmeal, malt, a little hops, and some milk chocolate. The problem with the flavor on this beer is that it's simply too thin. No element is assertive enough.
M: An OK amount of carbonation with a smooth, if thin, finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely a little on the disappointing side. Oatmeal stout is a tough style to master and this one doesn't get into the top tier, in spite of some good qualities.
