Appearance:: Arrives espresso brown with a tan head that fades to a ringlet while leaving some spotty lace
Smell: Roasted tones with a piney element
Taste: Charred toast, up front, with piney flavors building powerfully through the middle; some stone fruit arrives, after the swallow to add another dimension but the finish is bitter
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting ABA, with the fruity tones adding balance
