12 oz can with a 23 October 2018 canning date stamped on the bottom; from the Wall of Beer (Clemson, SC; $1.99).
Pours clear but very dark reddish brown, essentially opaque in the glass, with a minimal beige head and negligible lacing.
Moderately strong aroma for style with dark toast, dark roasted grains, alcohol and black coffee.
Flavor: follows but with less obvious alcohol, more chocolate, and a touch of burnt grains. Rich, relatively bold flavor.
Feel: near full body with low carbonation: lower than typical for style; a bit more carbonation might work better.
