Bottle 0.5L.
Clear amber body with pink nuances; large, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing though; high density of medium-sized particles.
Light-to-moderate malty and light yeasty (leather) aroma with some notes of fruits and bubble-gum.
Light sweet flavour with faint bitter and acidic characters.
Light-to-medium body with watery texture; soft carbonation.

From the bottle, it pours a rosy amber with a light rose colored healthy head. Light flavor and body. Acceptable. The beers from this part of France seem to be more memorable for their labels than their flavor. Hmm.

500ml brown glass bottle acquired in Strasbourg, France, and poured into a Guinness brewhouse series imperial (true) pint glass in Belfort, France. Reviewed live.
A: Pours a one finger head, extremely thin, devoid of cream, and of very poor retention. Cloudy orange colour with floating yeasty particles.
Sm: Light scent of berry esters: primarily cherry. No citrus. Refreshing. A mild strength scent.
T: Berry esters go so far they even get sour by the climax. That was unexpected and pretty bold. Otherwise, there's a standard full barley foundation to support the hops. Complex enough, but lacking in balance. It relies on the cherry/sour notes for all of its flavour, and it just isn't enough to feel satisfactory built.
Mf: Slightly coarse and nicely wet. The sourness inhibits its ability to refresh. Somewhat complementary of the flavours of the body.
Dr: Average ABV, pretty good quality, and fair pricing make this a beer every beeradvocate should give a spin.
