Cerberus is the 3-headed hellhound of Organic American India Pale Ales. Abundantly bitter, and deeply aromatic, Cerberus combines late addition kettle hops with a copious, lip smacking dry hop for a balanced complexity that will have you craving more. Cerberus is an annual one-off NSCRAFTBEER week release brewed by the 2 Organic Nova Scotian breweries, Tatamagouche Brewing and Big Spruce Brewing. This year we invited our friends at The Church Brewing Company to join us!

Hazy, thick orange-gold with a strong head. Fresh citrus hop nose. Medium malt body with more orangey citrus hops to taste. Alcohol bite is there. Be warned, this is DIPA strength!

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with light bitter notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops with light resinous notes with hints of dry caramel malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but more bitter then I was expecting with more dry caramel malt that I usually like in my beers.
