Kaffir Leaf Saison

This starts out as our traditional Saison and then fresh Kaffir leaves from our brewer's own Kaffir Lime tree are added. These leaves are used a lot in Thai cooking and produce a really unique citrus and floral aroma and flavor. We use French Saison yeast in this beer and we do not add an abundance of wheat like other Saisons. This keeps this brew light and easy-drinking. Just one hop is used while brewing, Mandarina Bavaria, which compliments the citrus from the Kaffir nicely.
