Dry Irish Stout, it has light body, low calories compared to other brews, low carbs and low alcohol, around 4.5%. This is not a heavy beer. It is brewed with 5# of oysters, shell and all. In an effort to distinguish themselves from the Pub Up The Way, Irish and English brewers would add the local oysters to their brews. There is no distinguishable oyster flavor in the beer but they add Sea Salt, Calcium and other Minerals that become part of the overall flavor. There are some other micro-brew oyster beers available on a seasonal basis.

Huge, thick head; not sure if this was a nitro pour, but it certainly seemed like it. That being said, the mouthfeel was very thin and the flavor was rather subdued. Not at all what I expected from something labeled "oyster stout," but I suppose I can't rate it too poorly as it is categorized here as an Irish Dry Stout.

Had on tap. Charcoal black opaque body with a tan head and thick lacing. Smell is roasted malts to the max, with slight minerality. Taste is much more complex: dark chocolate syrup, sea salt and brine notes accent with roasted malts carrying the load. Good combo. The body betrays this beer, thin and light, but at least stops short of being watery
