750 ml bottle into a snifter.
Pours dark, a purplish brown. Small head, some lacing. Smells of figs (truth in advertising), some grapes, malts. Taste follows the nose with the figs and malts. Also get some raisins. Sweet, but a touch of bitterness on the back end. Well carbonated, nice body and feel.
A good beer, well worth trying. It's pegged as a winter warmer, but there's not the spiciness you generally get with this style.
