On tap. Poured a dark, red color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled fruity with caramel and toffee. Very sweet and fruity. Some caramel and minimal bitterness.

This beer was the 2nd of my flight during a recent trip to Tapistry. This one arrived at the table with a thin white head that dissipates very quickly to a thin lacing. The beer itself is clear and amber in color with very light carbonation visible in the form of tiny bubbles rising lazily toward the surface. 3.75/5 The aroma is quite subdued unfortunately and consists mainly of a light caramel sweetness and a light cereal malt note. There is really very little else to report in terms of the aroma. 3.25/5 The flavor is much more enticing than the aroma with light caramel and unmalted barley leading the way. Grape Nut O's cereal really come out in the middle very strongly before transitioning into the herbal hop finish that features a bit of black pepper spiciness. 3.75/5 Light bodied in stature and crisp throughout the entire profile. Light carbonation burn throughout keeps any potential for dryness to a minimum and results in no lingering dryness. 4/5 Well balanced beer flavor-wise. Unfortunately the aroma is just not up to par in comparison to the flavor. Enjoyable and light, great for pairing with food. 3.75/5
