The 3rd beer of my flight of 5 at a recent trip to Tapistry. This one arrived at the table with a bright white, thin head that dissipated rather slowly to a whispy lacing. The beer itself is clear and a bright golden color with very low carbonation visible in the form of medium sized bubbles rising lazily toward the surface of the beer. 3.75/5 Well rounded aroma with corn and barley both coming out fairly strong and being backed up by a caramel sweetness. There is a noticeable hop presence which brings earthy and grassy aromas to the plate as well. 4/5 The flavor is dead on with the notes from the aroma. Corn, caramel, and barley come out nice and strong up front and are backed up by a fresh white bread note that is very tasty. The back half of the flavor profile is taken over by the hops with earthy and grassy hops taking the cake, although the corn still comes out fairly well too. There is very little bitterness and no lingering bitterness. 4/5 Light bodied and creamy throughout the entire profile. This beer strikes a middle ground between thin and viscous. Very light dryness and no lingering dryness upon swallowing. 4/5 Very good Cream Ale that is well balanced with the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. Easily sessionable. Perfect hot day ale. 4/5
