Can. Little white head. Clear golden orange color. Definitely doesn’t look like a New England ipa. Hop sediment in the glass.
Tastes like a Midwest ipa. Some hops, some resin, some west coast dank, and some bready malts. A bit of orange and citrus.
It’s an okay ipa, but not a very good New England ipa and I’m rating it as such.

Picked this up on the road at a Meijer in Michigan, as I never had anything from Tapistry before. The label drew me in as I wasn't able to find much locally brewed in the Great Lakes State, as this was fairly decent take on a style that's big in these parts.
This poured a dark peach with a *ton* of sediment in it and foam to top it off, as this did not age that well. Most of the lacing left behind was concentrated in a thin ring near the top and in a few, nicely-defined layers near the middle of my pint glass. A faint array of stone fruits could be found in the nose along with hints of wheat that seemed to come from Michigan itself. Dank fruits quietly emerged in the taste without a lot of tang as this had plenty of body and light and persistent carbonation that kept this from feeling too heavy on the palate.
Not a lot of alcohol here although I felt some warming kick in as I finished this off. Dated the 16 of August of this year, this wasn't bad but I'll give it a pass on the appearance since I lugged this through 30 states before coming home a few weeks ago. Great to see something that's proud to be brewed in Michigan but this had a ways to go to catch up to better examples from closer regions. Grab this if you love stone fruit, light bread, and an aftertaste straight out of the tropics!
