Mr. Csupor had this brewed at Legenda this time and I had it on tap in Kandalló, Budapest - Hungary.
This W-IPA, brewed in the West Coast fashion is quite densely hopped, a little bit to an extent of being too thick. It brings in bitterness halfway through an overwhelming intensity of hops - and I'm not even sure anymore if this syrupy hop bitterness is necessary at all or not... would prefer it a bit cleaner with intensity that preserves the complexity of the beer, like Stone - but of course I do not expect it to be like that, it is only my personal preference. Like I observe always, Hungarian craft breweries would definitely benefit from years of experience and confidence in making IPAs - and we are on the right way, we will surely get there once.
