Pours an effervescent copper/ruby with 2 fingers of tan head. Not much head retention or lacing
S: Faint brown bread & biscuitty malt, a little dark fruit as well, boozeyness as well, plums
T: Brown bread, a touch of boozeyness & figgyness & a bit of cherry up front. Dryness, boozey pears, cherry & figs as this warms, some caramel as well. Finishes dry, boozey with caramel & cherry, & brown bread, plus a touch of oakyness & vanilla
MF: Medium bodied, firm carbonation , warming
Nice winter warmer, could actually use a few more months aging, I would buy this again
