The first in our series of lacto-fermented sours, Sour Asylum #1 is a light, pleasantly acidic, 3.8% sour session beer brewed with 100% pilsner malt, soured with lactobacillus in the kettle, fermented with our house lager yeast and dry hopped with Amarillo and Galaxy.

Had on draught.
Appearance: Pours a pale straw color, with a quickly dissipating, white head. Bright and clear, super clean looking(ya know, except for the whole bacteria thing).
Smell: Lacto hits hard at first, followed by some lemon rinds, some other exotic, tart fruits come through for me(guava, passionfruit).
Taste: Super refreshing, lemonade tartness(I'm thinking country time). I think I taste salt? It mostly comes through in an almost sea water mouthfeel. This kinda tastes like a gose tbh. More exotic fruits in the taste, lots of citrus. Lactic sourness does not linger, and instead leaves you craving more.
Mouthfeel: Light body, but bordering on medium-light from the lactic acid. Moderate carbonation, and insanely crushable.
Overall: I would destroy several pints of this at the pool on a hot day.
