12 ounce can - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Date encoder printhead or sensor must've been off, as there're only a few stray digits on the far lip of the can.
Appearance: Heavily clouded, dulled yellow body with a smallish, slackening, white head.
Smell: Leafy, citrusy hops with a whiff of citrus juices edged by a razor thin sliver of pith and creamy albeit paste-like rustic grains.
Taste: Initially pithy, citric, fruity with some curtly resinous, leafy herbal hints atop the lightly, briefly sweetish rustic grain schtew. Stays fairly tangy as the gluey qualities from the cushiony, haze-inducing grain bill additions persist. Moderately bitter. Really nice blend of newer and older citrusy hops, here, but that enduring roux-esque gumminess from the haze-supporting grist that just sits on the tongue, turning a little astringent on the lingering backend.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not exactly a homerun, here, but, it'll do.
