I don't know if this is exactly much of an improvement on the original Rowdy & Proud, or if it's an improvement at all. It may be a little juicer, but I don't know. Both smell and taste great.

100819.
Appearance: Thoroughly hazed, matte orange-gold body with a diminishing, soft white head.
Smell: Alcohol-spritzed citrus segments and sliced strawberry with a resiny, herbal backing. Underneath, a dry breadiness and tones of the usual, rustic raw wheat/oats/barley one finds cushioning the pale ales and IPA's of today.
Taste: Sweet, fruity and tangy upfront with vibrant berry tones, light muskmelon, tangerine and grapefruit, turning to herbs packed in lime juice. All the while, a warming bit of alcoholic heat. Medium bitterness, though the beer abruptly shift backs to sweet-heat and strawberry-Midori marked with some acidity and the dull, nigh-pasty tone of the raw grains folding in at the last moment.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Not bad.
