12 ounce can - $2.49 at Total Wine & More in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, tawny golden appearance with a medium-sized, lace-leaving, near white head.
Smell: Lightly bready barley topped with a thin sheet of floral, citrusy Centennial.
Taste: Lightly bready maltiness with a sustained crunchy kernel of rock candy sweetness. Slight, subtle graininess. Very modest floral, citrus tones, minimally bitter. Gently sways back towards the initial bready sweetness for the smooth finish. Very faint pine, swarthy herbs lingering briefly in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Harbors a pleasant agreeable base ale, but, even for a wet hop ale, the Centennial is just so subdued as to come across a bit humdrum.
