Served on-tap at City Beverage (Food Truck Festival) in Winston-Salem, NC
A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium purplish red in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some ruby red + amber highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy light beige head that reduces to a medium sized patch of thick film with a very thin film surrounding it and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of pale malts and blackberries with a light amount of tartness.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of pale malts with moderate flavors of tart blackberries.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.
O: Overall a refreshing beer and a better example of the true flavors of blackberries than many of the other beers I have sampled really bringing out the tartness of fresh blackberries. Really enjoyed this brew but I hate the name...
