weird but pretty good, summery, and somehow quite a bit lighter than it looks. cherry lime flavored, and it looks real deeply ruby colored, it glows, is jewel toned, and is pretty clear. im surprised how mellow it is in the flavor, was expecting a cherry bomb, and while the beer elements like grain and hops are hard to find, its also not totally over flavored or cheap to me, its somewhat light to drink even, and with the tangy lime is nice for summer, not much grain body beefing it up or anything, almost a juice drink more than a beer, but it tastes good. there is a mouthwatering fruity tartness on the nose, equal parts cherry and lime, popsicle vibes. the flavor is the same, and while i have a hard time rating this highly because it doesnt really show as beer, i also cant rate it poorly because its good. lime and cherry in excellent harmony, a cranberry juice essence here too, drier than a lot of beers in this space, with pleasing back end acidity and a lot of carbonation keeping it moving. i wish for more malt but that would make this heavier, and hops would be out of place too, so i guess its got some grain in it, but it really is light. seems a little feminine to me, cocktail-esque too, and thankfully not something that seems to be trying to take itself too seriously. fun summer drink, on the edge of refreshing even, a little something different from hop valley, curious but enjoyable...
