On draft at DATZ, South Tampa.
Looks more like a Brown Ale. lots of malt character. No Hops like other reviewer's have mentioned. It might have been sitting here awhile? Full body taste and feel but still Average, nothing special.

Enjoyed on-tap at the Public House in Orlando. This red ale from Angry Chair features a nice balance between the malt and hops delivering a good dose of both. This one is not your typical red, almost tasting more like an imperial version of the style. Not bad, I'd drink this one again.

Pretty good brew.
Appearance: pretty damn dark for a red ale. A deep red almost brown. Good slightly beige head sits on top and left great lacing the whole way through.
Scent: Hoppy with subtle hints of malt. Heavy on the hops, almost like an IPA. Grapefruit and pine.
Flavor: Again very hop forward but not in a bad way. Earthy/woody pine was the biggest flavor, leading into some grapefruit/citrus.
Body: Very thin, with lots of carbonation. This might just be a preference thing with me, but I found this beer to be a little too thin for my liking. I don't know if it's because it falls in this middle ground between and IPA and an American Ale, but I was a bit surprised by it's thinness.
O: Would definitely drink again. A very easy brew to kick back with on a hot day. Only complaint was the thin body of the beer, but everything else was pretty on point.Don't know if I would call this a "Red Ale" per se because the maltiness is pretty hard to find, but then again I didn't brew it... so more power to them.
