Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 32 oz. swing-top growler into a Cigar City goblet.
A: Very light gold, mildly hazy. Forms a big two-finger white head though it dissipates quickly. Good visible carbonation.
S: Lemony citric tart, mild wheat grist under the lightest cracker malt. Not a huge amount of aroma, but what's there is pretty nice.
T: Tart lemons and citric acid. Nice wheat aspect to the otherwise pale cracker malt bill - and the grainy character that is so pervasive to the style is happily absent. The salinity shows up a hair as a touch of savoriness just before the swallow, and lasts for a beat afterwards its the lingering citric tartness.
A: Light body, minimal alcohol. The carbonation sensation is maybe a touch lower than expected, though I would keep in mind that this was a growler pour.
O: A good, standard example of style. Nothing overtly special to make it stand out, but I find it difficult to find much fault in it either.

On tap at Mermaid Tavern in Tampa, FL.
This pours a clear straw yellow, with a small fizzy head, and not much lacing.
Smells like clean Gose sourness, some lemon, a very mild funk, and some salt.
This is as straightforward as a Gose gets, and it nails the style for sure. It's very clean and well balanced in the sour and citrusy department. It's got a pretty pronounced level of salinity, which works for me.
This is light bodied, with a very crisp and clean mouthfeel. It's very drinkable.
A spot on stab at the style here.

Thanks to markwise for this growler, 32 ounces of gose. That sounds like a good eight minutes to me. Split with my lovely (but stout-craving) wife.
The pour is light, see-through yellow. The nose pops with sea salt & lightly acidic. Simple. Appealing.
Angry Chair Gose is like drinking tasty water off the beaches of Carlsbad. The salinity is perfectly balanced: enough to satisfy my sodium intake for the day, but not enough to send me to the hospital for Morton poisoning. Mid-palate brings wheat, tart lemon spritzer. There’s a dried up pond near my house that’s much moister than this. Crushable.
This is like the first single-celled organism that crawled out of the primordial muck. Simple, direct, & probably the initial meal of the first two-celled organism. So easy & so very good.
