Awesome, barley wines can be hit or miss for me, where a lot of them are just average beers. This treatment is fantastic. The sweetness of the maple and coconut add to the base beer offering a great mix that makes this beer a fantastic after dinner beer. Almost like a nice cocktail, where the adjuncts act in cohesiveness with the beer. I had a few at the anniversary party, but went back when it was put on tap again. I love angry chairs stouts but this beer blew me away. Just a delicious beer. If only they would make more....

On tap at Angry Chair anniversary. Pours very dark brown, almost black. This is a maple coconut bomb. Both flavors are pronounced on the aroma and the taste and they work so well with the base beer. I get malty, brown sugar and caramel sweetness with some chocolate, but its not cloying. Not sure what it is, but there is a flavor (maybe licorice) that is cutting the sweetness. Mouth feel is sticky and slick. Easy drinking. This is just bursting with flavor. Outstanding.

This beer was absolutely outstanding. Heavy coconut and maple in the nose, as well as brown sugar and caramel. Taste highlighted maple and coconut and while it was sweet it was no where near cloying. I can only imagine this in a barrel.
