16oz can. No dating information found.
Looks as if clarity is good, with the body color of dark brown with a mahogany back lit edge. Brief tan colored head which dissipates as quickly as it is poured. Thin ring with a few small active surface spots. No lacing.
Aroma has a big hazelnut coffee nose. Hints of chocolate and vanilla. Solid dark roasted malts.
Taste still has the hazelnut coffee flavor but there is also some dark fruit. Good dark roasted malts. Sweetness comes from the malts and the hazelnut, which brings out some chocolate and vanilla. Coffee reasserts in the aftertaste.
Thinner mouthfeel. Chalky and dry, especially at the finish. Supportive carbonation.
Stays away from being too sweet and brings strong dark roast coffee and hazelnut flavors.

Malty with toffee and hazelnut notes. Dry. Full bodied and creamy.

Had on Nitro at AC. Beautiful creamy head Black in tan. Extraordinary nose so full of hazelnuts ... then coffee and base malt. Taste mirrors but is not as seductive as the nose. Feel is way too thin...even on nitro. Overall a very enjoyable hazelnut dark ale that just comes up short on body.

First time I have seen Angry Chair in Daytona. Love the brewery and this beer on nitro was ok but based on my experience and expectations it was a let down, but it was a good nitro Porter. Just not great.

32 oz crowler from the brewery.
Nice dark brown to black body with a tan head of 2 fingers receding to a nice beige ring. Perfect color for a porter.
Coffee, maple, and hazelnuts are evident right away on the nose. Slight metallic presence. Nice maple nut goodie thing still hanging around.
Flavor is a touch metallic to start (might be from being in a crowler for a month), followed by acidic and fruity coffee notes, slight black pepper, and then lots of hazelnut, maple, and cream.
Feel is creamy and smooth, just right on the carbonation, and just right on the dryness.
Overall, an exceptional porter with lots of great flavors going on.
