Expecting nothing less, this has a syrupy black pour, which builds a somewhat persistent unevenly fluffy tan head that quickly settles to a thin film and bubbly collar over a glossy marble black body.
Feel is less thick than it looks, as the silky medium-light body amptly delivers bourbon soaked date and fig with vanilla creme, mocha, chocolate wafer and sticky glassy cashew almond toffee.
The sparse bubbly carbonation comes to a semi-sticky slightly warmingly sharp swallow, bringing up notes of maple and sassafras.
A massive leap over the non-barrel aged imperial base.

Poured into a snifter. Viscous and dark on the pour with a thin tan head. Faint cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate were all there on the nose. The taste totally surpassed my expectations after the aroma. The cinnamon was there but framed the rest of the beer and did not dominate. Vanilla, bourbon, faint coffee, and chocolate. The bourbon mixed so well with the sweetness of the stout, like a dessert cocktail. Thick but not overly sweet. Outstanding. Best use of cinnamon I've seen in a while.

I was ready for over the top sweet and I’m not a huge pasty stout fan but this delivered . Yes it sweet like brownie batter but it not over the top and coffee and roast is all there in layers

This one pours a glossy and inky looking black, with a small dark brown head, and not much lacing.
This smells like cinnamon frosting, vanilla, coffee, roasted malt, silky and earthy bourbon, oak, molasses, and chocolate fudge.
This is one of the better Angry Chair beers I've had. Most of them have been too sweet, but this has a lot of other things going on temper the sweetness. The cinnamon helps add an earthy spiciness, some roast, earthy and licorice-y coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and a hint of bourbon. There's more barrel to this than some of the other beetus bombs I've had from this brewery.
This is thick, creamy, and a little bit syrupy, with a typical level of carbonation for a big stout, and a surprising level of drinkability.
This is probably my favorite beer I've had from Angry Chair so far. This is very excellent.
