This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like very sweet maple, with a dash of cinnamon, light roast, lots of creamy chocolate, and gooey vanilla.
Like most Angry Chair stuff this is pretty sweet. It's delicious in a low-oz share setting, though. The maple and vanilla play well together, and the cinnamon is used most lightly, to my preference. There's a lot of sweet and syrupy chocolate, with kind of syrupy coating feeling on the back end.
This is medium bodied, creamy and syrupy, with a lower level of carbonation, and no booziness.
This doesn't move me as much as some other stabs at the style, but I can't deny it's pretty darn tasty anyway.

750ml capped bottle, snifter glass. Dark black body, the usual mocha head that lingers for a while, not much lacing. Smell is maple drenched bread, a bit of warming whiskey heat, milk chocolate and cocoa, maybe even a touch of hazelnut. They really nail the french toast flavour on the palate as well. It's pretty much bourbon and french toast flavours. It's not any more complicated to describe than that. Medium fuller bodied, lower in carbonation, otherwise nice maple and bready brown sugar on the finish. Delicious beer that essentially tastes like what the name advertises. Well done AC.

This one had an oddly woody barrel that's got a sweet red fruit and kind of metallic note to it when paired with the super sticky maple, which isn't too forward in this one, but at the same time, there's not really any cinnamon I'm getting. There's a peppery bourbon heat within the crackly carb before it finishes cotton dry.

Smells incredible, tastes amazing, although mouthfeel is too thin and way too sweet. Struggled to get through a 5 ounce pour at the brewery.
