Coffee black with a creamy tan head that exhibits strong, moderately thick retention.
The hazelnut still shines here, with a light malt and coffee roast that's like caramelized brown sugar and a touch of mapled nut. However, the coconut has a clear influence, creating a slightly more viscous, heavier and stickier body than the medium-light soft body of regular. It also brings an herbal, creamy sort of vanilla coconut that helps emulate a candy bar, while still coming to a semi-dry, mostly clean finish that manages to have a light sort of semi-bitter or sharp bite to it.
Still, the coconut definitely adds a sharpness and sweetness that kind of actually detracts from the perfection of Fionn. Crazily, though, it gets better over time. Angry Chair, the nut wizards. Wizards of nut.
