Appearance - Rather than calling this a blonde barleywine, it might be more accurate to call it a dishwater blonde. The beer had visible carbonation and was crowned with a white head.
Smell - The nose was earthy, but a hint of sweetness was present.
Taste - The booze was well balanced with the sweetness of the malts and marshmallow. The sweetness was not overwhelming, and far from cloying. Yet, I found myself wanting more marshmallow.
Mouthfeel - The beer was creamy with dense carbonation.
Overall - The beer was delicious, but I feel it could have been something more.

Had this on tap at the brewery. The beer had a dark red amber appearance with no head. Aromas were incredible; pure burnt sugar with vanilla malt. The taste was a strong vanilla and very sweet. Medium body. Overall, incredible aromas and taste.
